The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston

The collections here are amongst the best and most fun and diverse I’ve been to in the country. It has collections from all eras, major artists, and even an interior design room (my favorite). The place is huge – 3 buildings – and you should definitely allow 2+ hrs per building to fully enjoy all the art. Also love the on site cafe and restaurant.

I took my children here to see the Perseid shower. It was very laid back, all of the volunteers were very kind and so excited to share what they know! I would absolutely go again! Bring your own folding chair(s) to make sure you get a seat, but there is plenty of room to stand and observe.
