I love this pit stop! I get everything I need. The staff is friendly and helpful. I asked them for local things to do and where to find stuff around Arnold and they’re very knowledgeable! I get gas here and I recently I discovered that this has station carries most of the local wines. I don’t have to drive down the hill to the big grocery store for wine. I can get here all what I want while I’m getting gas. Supporting local and small business is my thing. And speaking of gas, the prices are fair, on the other hand Grizzly Bear station charges a fee for all credit and debit cards transactions. I’m a small business owner and to me that’s very cheap from a business to make their clients pay for their business personal fees. And I dont go there. I hope this help. Carpe Diem

Great food, great service. We go at least once a month on a weekend and it’s always packed. Recommend reserving ahead of time. Amazing biscuits and gravy and everything else I’ve tried is good too.

Great food and great service. Cute restaurant in a nice area. We had avocado eggs Benedict and a classic breakfast. The lattes were so good we each had two.

Arvada Villa Italian Restaurant

I work for a mobile dog and cat grooming company and I had a casual conversation with the owner of this restaurant (Tom) as he booked his cat for an appointment. He talked about this restaurant a bit, and as a life long pasta lover, I just knew I had to try it. My boyfriend and invited a couple of our good friend and we ended up staying there for a good 3 hours talking and catching up. We were never bothered or asked to leave (because I know we were hogging a larger table they probably needed). We appreciated it. It’s a very cute place. My boyfriend instantly commented on how wonderful it smelled as we walked in. The four of us ordered a large pizza, and a few pasta dishes (stuffed shells & tortellini) just so we all could try a little of everything. We got a lovely loaf of soft bread and butter, and of course it was delicious. Next came the salads, and they were cold, crisp and fresh! I do believe the Italian dressing is house made. It was very nice as well. Then our pasta and pizza came out. I’m a bit of a ricotta snob and a bit picky, ricotta mix inside the shells was divine! Yum! The pizza — amazing. The crust is not normally a part of the pizza I eat, but it was delicious and cooked perfectly! The meat balls and sausage that came with the pasta — incredible. The sausage had the PERFECT amount of spice, and the meatballs were massive. The tortellini looked possibly house made as well and wow oh wow was it good. The staff was nice, it wasn’t too loud in there which was nice. Overall I believe all of us had a great experience and we will be back…. I have to try those cookies they had in the jars on the counter! Thank you Tom for telling me about my new favorite little Italian restaurant!!

Tavernetta

One of my new favorite Italian restaurants. I was lucky enough to get some of the seasonal dishes and let me tell you they were awesome. Service was great and quick. Be sure to leave space for dessert, we tried almost all flavors of gelato, my personal favorite was chocolate mint. They do have kids menu, but it’s not written. Good options for the kiddos.
