We went to the July 4th double feature, Independence Day & the Shining. It was awesome! Also we were the only ones with tickets for the Shining and they played it just for us. The Blue Starlite is so cute & fun. Beautiful surroundings as well.

Comanche Drive-In Theatre

How AWESOME this little treat out in the middle of a field in the mountains definitly was. I had not been to a drive in in forever. They were showing Wonder Woman. Not such a great movie to me. I know a lot of people liked it. I’d have to say I was not impressed with it. The drive on the other hand I was very impressed with…The scenery at dusk was gorgeous. You are surrounded by mountains ALL around you..The bathroom is small one toilet. The snack bar was really cool. I’d definitely recommend that if you’re up for the weekend in Cottonwood springs or Bueno Vista to check them out. Takes you back in time…

Bally’s Casino Black Hawk North

One of the only places on the hill I’ve hit twice within seconds. Also the best burger on the hill $8 for the equivalent of a smash burger with fries tots or onion rings lettuce tomato onion and cheese. Can’t even do that at McDonald’s these days. There is a girl in the deli saving up for her first house, tip her she makes great burgers!

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Littleton

Going to Alamo Drafthouse isn’t just going to see a movie in a movie theater. It’s an experience not to be missed. Instead of worrying about getting a meal before or after the film, eat a meal while watching. The food’s decent. The seats are spacious, comfortable, and reclining. And to make the experience even more wonderful, we got to see and hear an interview with Michelle Yeoh about how her acting career started, instead of looking at previews. I highly, highly recommend going to Alamo Drafthouse Cinema for an exquisite experience. The last time I remember seeing a movie at the theater was before the pandemic. I really wanted to see “Everything, Everywhere, All At Once” in the theater. The movie was amazing (my new favorite), and seeing it at Alamo Drafthouse was well worth the investment and time.

Bowlero Littleton

This place looks excellent and they are almost done with the remodel! Practically everything is new from the ceiling to the floor. The new sound system is excellent, brand-new arcade is tons of fun, even remodeled restrooms. New lighting, new seating, and a great projection system! You can watch all of your favorite sports on the big screens as you bowl. An updated, yet still classic, bowling alley.
