Mountain Recreation Freedom Park
Wonderful lakeside park where dogs can run off leash and play to their hearts content. Nice paved path goes all the way around the lake. Lake is stocked for catch and release fishing. Next to public recreation facility so bathrooms are available. Beautiful views and connects to the Eagle Valley Trail System.

I took my children here to see the Perseid shower. It was very laid back, all of the volunteers were very kind and so excited to share what they know! I would absolutely go again! Bring your own folding chair(s) to make sure you get a seat, but there is plenty of room to stand and observe.

Great art installation in the middle of the desert. Not hard to find. Spent about an hour here.
World Famous Crochet Museum
This place is so quirky and unique..while it’s tiny, there are so many crochet goods and I was trying to observe every colorful bits! Free to enter but you can leave a tip or purchase something from the Art Queen store next door.
Old Schoolhouse Museum
The people here are super kind! They know a lot of history of the area and it’s really a wonderful piece of history!
