Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar
This restaurant was close to my hotel and I wanted to try something local and chill. The place was packed by 530 on a Friday but they still sat me (party of 1) immediately. The server was great at setting expectations and let me know the bar was backed up, though my drink still came out in a matter of minutes after that. Ordered the Bison meatloaf which the waiter said was one of the best things on the menu. Did not disappoint. Only complaint was I went through 3 parking lots to find one I was allowed to park in and had open spots. There’s no way I’d have been able to eat here in 2 hours if they were any busier.

This place was recommended to me as the best coffee spot in Yucca Valley and I’ll second and third that! It was amazing! Absolutely loved the people and the vibe. Make sure to dine in and they had amazing lattes and the freshest pastries on deck. I’ll highly recommend the croissants, can’t go wrong with those. The service was nice and fast and we loved the ambience. Highly recommend if you are in that area or want to grab a coffee before heading into Joshua Tree NP.

We have gotten sandwiches from this location twice and both times we got excellent service from Doc. He is friendly and excellent at making sandwiches. We are Vegan and order veggie sandwiches and believe me when I say that Doc makes our sandwiches taste amazing with his portions and sandwich making style. Thanks Doc!
Boomtown Coffee
I love this place for morning or afternoon coffee breaks. Delicious espresso drinks made with care. I did try some pastries and taco and the food is fine. But you are not here for the food. It is a great coffee spot. Love it!

Love the food here. Pretty much every time have the poulet (chicken) baguette. Bread is light and food is so so tasty (seasoning on point). Also recommend getting something with the sausage, just yumm!
Service is excellent, everyone is very warm. Will keep coming back here

Food was So delicious and plentiful. We purchased one chicken pasta with spinach and the chicken w/waffles and bacon. Pasta wS tasty but the chicken and waffles were DELICIOUS!!! Awesome customer service! Restaurant was very clean. Bathroom check……toilet seat was ghastly and needs to be replaced!!
