Places to eat
Highland Tap and Burger
When Highland Tap & Burger opened in 2010, it was designed as a watering hole for a neighborhood in flux: Northwest Denver was rapidly gentrifying, displacing much of the Mexican-American community that had been there for multiple generations (most of the Italian families were already gone).
Amadeo’s Pizza & Deli
Stopped by for a quick bite to eat while in town. Very reasonably priced! The food was delicious and reminded me of home and a former pizza shop which had fresh made sauce and well-done crust! The sub and Stromboli were full of meat. We would visit again! There appears to also be a bakery case, unsure what other goodies they have during the daytime as we visited at night.
