Uptripping
I loved exploring Uptripping and all the things they had in their shop. There was plenty of furniture throughout, as well as wall art to buy. It’s on the main drag in Winter Park but is a bit hard to find. But it’s definitely worth making a bit of effort to find. It’s a great place to find furnishings and art for your second home in the mountains, or something to take back with you wherever you’re from. I make it a point to stop here when I’m in town because there’s always something new to find and get inspired by.

Joshua Tree Astronomy Arts Theater
I took my children here to see the Perseid shower. It was very laid back, all of the volunteers were very kind and so excited to share what they know! I would absolutely go again! Bring your own folding chair(s) to make sure you get a seat, but there is plenty of room to stand and observe.
Noah Purifoy Foundation
Great art installation in the middle of the desert. Not hard to find. Spent about an hour here.
World Famous Crochet Museum
This place is so quirky and unique..while it’s tiny, there are so many crochet goods and I was trying to observe every colorful bits! Free to enter but you can leave a tip or purchase something from the Art Queen store next door.
Old Schoolhouse Museum
The people here are super kind! They know a lot of history of the area and it’s really a wonderful piece of history!
